I have yet to make a post from our Europe trip but I plan to do so this weekend. We have been so busy recently with sporting activities, friends, family, birthdays, showers and more. It has been a wonderful start to the summer.
Nick wrapped up his most recent club basketball league taking 3rd place with his team. They did a great job taking on another team with NO SUBS for the entire hour that they played. Even with two subs on the other team, they still couldn’t beat our team. Great Victory guys!!!
We are blessed to have two friends that both have boats so we went out to Lake Pleasant and Bartlett two weekends in a row with Jackie and Patrick one weekend, and our small group the next. Fun in the sun is always a good time and when you add in wake surfing and cruising on a beautiful lake, it is that much better. The Rockies came into town so of course Nick wanted to go to EVERY game that they played the AZ D-Backs. I went to the Friday night game then he took a friend and his brother Jeremy the next two games. We got to see some fireworks at the Friday night game and it was a beautiful night. Thank you to Melissa for the tickets!
It seems to be baby season. I have had 6 friends/family members that have either just had, or are getting ready to have babies (so far 5 are girls, and one is unknown- we can’t wait to find out!!!). I went to a baby shower for my neighbor Jen at the English Rose Tea Room in Carefree and it was so much fun. It was a perfect place to have a baby shower if you ask me. We all had to put on these silly hats but it was a part of the fun. They served warm scones, a tea of your choice, tiny finger sandwiches and a variety of beautiful desserts. Jen looked amazing and got some super cute gifts for their baby girl. I was also privileged to take some maternity photos of my sister-in-law and family. It was the hottest day of the year so far so we did the shoot as quickly as possible to avoid heat stroke. The twins were total troopers! I will not post many of those pictures because I am sure that Shannon will put them on her Blog. Love you guys.
